Special Services
Mrs. Leight
Students in grades K-3 who have been identified as functioning below grade level in the areas of pre-reading and reading skills may have the opportunity to attend Title I Intervention/Reading Services. Here a reading intervention specialist will provide small group instruction addressing the student’s areas of need. This service is provided to St. Joseph students through the Conway Public School system.
Mrs. Thessing
Students who have been formally evaluated and identified as having a learning disability may have the opportunity to attend Resource Services. Here a licensed special education instructor will work with the student individually or in a small group setting to address the academic areas of need. Resource Services are provided to St. Joseph students through the Conway Public School system.
Mrs. T. Seiter
Students in grades K-12 may receive in-direct monitoring services. A licensed special education teacher provides specific attention and follows up with students who qualify. A weekly meeting with the teachers and the student provide indirect support of the child’s learning plan.
Ms. Simon
Students who have been formally evaluated and identified as having speech/language deficits may have the opportunity to attend Speech/Language Therapy. Here a licensed speech/language pathologist will work with the student on an individual or small group basis in order to address the deficit areas. Speech/Language services are provided to St. Joseph students through the Conway Public School system.
