St. Joseph High School's bowling teams competed in the 1A-2A State Tournament at the Rogers Bowling Center in Rogers, AR on February 9th. Our boys team finished in 4th Place while the girls team earned 5th Place.
Junior Gabe Washum bowled a three-game total of 547. This ranked him as the third best individual bowler in the tournament excluding bowlers on the 1st and 2nd Place teams. He qualified to take part in the Overall High School Bowling Tournament on February 14th at the Allfam Bowling Center in Cabot.
Senior Catherine Royal finished 7th in the tournament with a three-game score of 444. Both she and Gabe were named All-State bowlers. Congratulations to them, the other team members and to Coach Jeremy Elsinger for their accomplishments.
