Abraham Lincoln once said "Good things happen to those who wait." Our boys' soccer team has been patiently waiting and working hard to earn their first win of the season. It finally happened yesterday, way up in Monette, Arkansas, when the Bulldogs defeated the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs 2-0.
"Our goals were made by Sam Piraino and Adrian Paz," Coach Nathan McCrary said. "Alex Tucker and Heath Thompson each had assists and goalkeeper Talen Reynaud achieved his first shutout."
The team's improvement was on full display. It lost to Buffalo Island here at home 5-1 on March 25. The boys return to their home field Friday and will face Conway Christian. Go Bulldogs!
