The Annual Bulldog Booster Club Golf Tournament was held at the Nutters Chapel Golf and Country Club on September 6. Thirty-eight teams participated in support of athletic programs at St. Joseph School.
There were two flights of golfers competing for the best scores on the 18-hole course. The winners in the 1st flight was the team of Bo, Austin and David Moix who ended with best score of 57. Reggie Rose, Justin McCarty and Lane Goodman finished in 2nd Place with a 58, and
3rd Place went to John Kordsmeier, Matthew Dail, and Josh Hambuchen came in with a 59.
The 2nd Flight's 1st Place team included Jim and Jake Lawson and Justin Pierce who shot a 64. A scorecard playoff resulted in 2nd Place going to Tom Gerard, Mark Enderlin and Jim Shamburger who also had a 64. The team of Michael Webb, Jay Faulkner, and Kris Adams came in 3rd Place with a 65 total.
Other tournament achievements included Closest to the Hole and Longest Drive competitions. Mike Westfall had the closest shot on Hole #3. Jason Kordsmeier did the same on Hole # 5. Jackson Harrell duplicated that feat on Hole #13, and Erik Fulton did so on Hole #16. The men's Longest Drive honors went to Collin Coney while Emily Hambuchen drove it for the women.
