Each year, St. Joseph School teachers are asked to nominate one of their co-workers from their respective campuses to be chosen Teacher of the Year. After the votes are tallied and announced, they will first be honored publicly by the Conway Noon Lions Club along with other educators from area schools. In the late Spring, our own administration formally recognizes our three teachers by presenting them with Golden Apple Awards at an all-school Mass.
It was announced at today's Mass which teachers were chosen. The elementary school selectee is Third Grade Teacher Abigail Covington. Dr. Liana Tyson, the Music and Band Teacher, is the middle school choice, and Spanish Teacher Ms. Carina Martinez is the high school honoree. Congratulations to all these very worthy winners.
