The St. Joseph High School Interact Club, which is affiliated with the Conway Noon Rotary Club, was recently recognized by the latter for the former's efforts during the clubs' annual sale of Christmas wreaths benefitting charitable causes. Of the 170 wreaths delivered by both organizations, St. Joseph students sold 120. They were presented a check for $1650 by Rotary Club President Sarah Shaw and Treasurer John Albritton. The ceremony took place at Larry's Pizza where the students were treated for lunch.
The Interact Club, through previous efforts, have paid for such school needs as senior class athletic banners, weight room equipment, picnic tables, and championship rings. It also makes an annual donation to Haven, a residential treatment program for adolescent females in foster care.
