The high point of the evening at Art Rajin' Cajun came when the bidding started on several hand-made quilts made by Kindergarten through 6th grade students, art teacher Shannon Chamoun, and other skilled adults. Auctioneer Gerard Martin got fired up when the bidding for the 6th Grade quilt heated up. Much was made of the fact that it would be the last quilt 6th graders would make before moving on to high school. The crowd was roaring at the end when the Crowder family's final bid took home the prize.
