At St. Joseph Elementary, our first grade students and teachers spent the afternoon celebrating as Q and U tied the knot! "In phonics, we learn that Q is never without U, so we decided to make it official! Our students got to watch Q and U say 'I do' and then celebrate with a fun wedding reception! Father Booker helped us officiate the ceremony, and Mrs. Covington and her wonderful fiancé Evan helped us out as well. The dance floor was definitely the place to be, and our first graders danced their hearts out! We had SO much fun celebrating our favorite phonics pair and making these sweet memories together!" explained Mrs. Hannah Yrle, 1st Grade Teacher. Q + U = ALWAYS TOGETHER! #FaithLearningLiving

Yesterday in Ms. Gooch's 5th grade science class, students had the opportunity to be scientists with a “Is It Still There?” Sugar & Salt Dissolving Mini Lab! "Students investigated what happens when sugar and salt dissolve in water. They made predictions, recorded observations, compared their results, and used evidence to think about an important question: Is the matter still there even when we can no longer see it?" explained Mrs. Gooch. #FaithLearningLiving
