The 5th grade loved having Mr. Michael Walter (Class of 1967) and his wife Mary visit the classroom recently as guest speakers to wrap up their Native American unit. "Mr. Walter brought many Native American artifacts that he has collected from the Navajo reservation in Arizona to share with the students. Each summer for the last 18 years he has gone to St. Michael, Arizona, to volunteer at St. Michael Indian School which was founded in 1902 by St. Katharine Drexel. His grandson, Max Kordsmeier, has joined him the last two summers," explained Mrs. Thompson, 5th grade teacher. How interesting! #FaithLearningLiving
